I am a product designer at heart, with a background in industrial design and I’ve chosen to devote that knowledge to ceramics. At my design studio, I explore the full potential of this timeless material, applying a designer’s mindset to create a wide range of ceramic objects: from refined tableware and architectural tiles to sculptural lighting and functional art pieces.
My work is deeply rooted in geometry, cosmology, and the structural poetry of engineering and architecture. Sacred geometry universal patterns found in nature, sound, and the cosmos guides my creative process. I see it not as ornament, but as a fundamental language that shapes how we perceive harmony, proportion, and beauty. Whether it’s a spiral, a circle, or a Platonic solid, these forms carry an energy that resonates far beyond the object itself.
To me, design is never just about individual pieces. It’s about the environment they help shape the mood, the rhythm, and the sense of wholeness they create together. Every object is a fragment of a larger story, contributing to a space that feels intentional, balanced, and alive. I approach every project holistically, considering how my ceramics interact with light, color, materials, and even the rituals of daily life.
While the potter’s wheel remains central to my practice, I also integrate handbuilding and slipcasting, selecting each method according to the purpose and personality of the piece. I love pushing material boundaries developing my own clay bodies and glazes, and experimenting with layered processes that elevate both form and surface.
Every object I create balances clean lines with ergonomic function. Even the most sculptural pieces must feel purposeful, comfortable, and visually precise. I also have a deep love for contrast playing with bold color accents on a black and white base, and combining gloss, satin, and matte finishes to bring energy and depth to each piece.
Ultimately, my work is about clarity, connection, and creating environments where people feel grounded, inspired, and attuned. I believe the spaces we inhabit and the objects within them should reflect the deeper order of nature and the universe, reminding us that beauty and function are not separate, but intrinsically united.
